Chill Pill is a free mellow music and Spoken Word night with some raving reviews since its launch. Already having played host to some of the most incredible musicians and spoken-word artists such as Paradox, Inua Ellams, D'bi.young, Scroobius Pip, Polarbear, Hollie Mcnish, Tshaka Campbell, Keith Jarrett, Ed Sheeran, David J, Kate Tempest, The Leano and Marques Toliver, Chill Pill is the underground place to just hang out, chill and listen to some amazing poetry & music on a Tuesday night.

After five events in 2010, live spoken word seems to have settled in to the museum which is otherwise full of important paintings, artefacts and poetry heritage, and word has got out that these FREE sunday afternoon sessions are a good spot for up and coming writers and appreciative listeners to share new ideas. Bohdan Piasecki is a bit of a Godfather in the Polish Spoken Word scene. He’s toured all over Europe last year with his collective ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ and he’s a Slam champ who actually got a job… GOOD FOR HIM!
Molly Naylor has also been raved about by all the mainstream press after her one woman show ‘Whenever I Get Blown Up I Think Of You’ which is about being a survivor of London’s 7.7 bombings.
